Farm to Fork Breakfasts and Evening Meals

A great meal starts with great ingredients. All our homecooked meals use our own organically reared Romney lamb and outdoor bred rare breed pigs, homegrown vegetables when in season (and if not grown by us then from local suppliers and growers). We also use organic ingredients wherever possible and never add preservatives, nitrates, sulphites or whatever other chemicals that ready-meal makers stick into their food. We have the simple aim of providing wholesome, tasty, clean food.​

 

Homemade

All meals are for two and are designed for you to heat up in the oven at your convenience so that you can relax on your holiday rather than spending time cooking and bringing food with you. In order to be fresh all our dishes require a minimum of  24 hours notice to allow us preparation time.​

Breakfast £32​

Our hampers provide two breakfasts for two people and include The hamper includes: ​

our organically reared bacon, our rare breed pork Cumberland sausages, our prize-winning free range eggs,

homemade tattie scones, organic baked beans, honey from bees in our apple orchard, fresh, locally baked bread, Fruit and nut muesli, Greek natural yoghurt, and our own refreshing, small batch pressed apple juice (750ml). ​

Lamb Tagine - Combining cinnamon, smoked paprika, Egyptian dates and apricots with other organic ingredients this dish has become a guest favourite. Served with rice and (Scottish made) Lebanese-style flat bread this is a hearty meal.​

Pork & Pepper Meatballs al forno - Served with fresh pasta, parmesan, garlic bread, a green salad and home made vinaigrette dressing, this dish is a favourite in our house.​

Butternut squash, chickpea and spinach curry - Combining butternut squash, spinach and chickpeas with madras based spices and cocunut milk, this medium curry is both light and hearty. Served with rice, naan bread and pickles.​

Beef Massaman and Sweet Potato curry – a slow cooked medium spiced fragrant Thai curry using organically reared Aberdeen Angus beef. Served with rice, naan bread and pickles.

Spaghetti Bolognese – loved by adults and children alike, our version uses oven roasted steak mince cooked in a rich Italian pomodoro tomato sauce. Hearty, comforting and superquick for you to prepare. Served with fresh linguine pasta, garlic bread, parmesan and fresh green salad.
